The R/V Mirai has just departed from Okinawa, Japan, for Singapore at 8 o’clock in the morning.
As we do not plan to do observation for most part of the cruise to Singapore, apart from crew, there are only 4 scientists and technicians on-board; it’s a lonely cruise. We look forward to arriving at Singapore, where more than 30 scientists and technicians will join us.
